2/DMT-Series: NC Rotary Tables with Direct Drive

A precision range offering great versatility at moderate cost


The key advantages


Application
For NC angular indexing, variable positioning or rapid response variable rotational speed requirements. Speeds range from very slow up to 500 rpm. The high accuracy and loading capacities make this range suitable for both machining and metrology applications.

Bearing
Axial-radial roller bearings provide high rigidity in both planes. Sensitivity and fine positioning are ensured.

Clamping
Distortion free system.

Measuring systems
High precision Heidenhain angular encoders are standard.

Motors
Powered by synchronous AC direct drive motors. The rotor is formed by the platen and the stator in the base unit. The drive technology provides superior stiffness due to backlash free transmission.

Construction
The modular design provides freedom to satisfy application variations, including horizontal or vertical axis arrangements. High grade sealing and effective power cooling system are incorporated.
